Pioneers top rival Colonels

Winchester — The Millbrook High School volleyball team’s sweep of county rival James Wood on Thursday night could have served as a statement that the Pioneers aren’t going anywhere after last week’s loss.
But the Pioneers are making it clear they have just one rival on their mind.
“It was big, but I’m going to be honest,” Millbrook coach Jen McCullough said after the 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-19) win at Casey Gymnasium. “What we want to work back to is a rematch with Sherando. Every win is just going to fuel the fire for a rematch.”
