Colonels roll to a 3-game sweep

Winchester- The James Wood volleyball team made short work of Washington (W.Va.) Wednesday evening, earning a 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-11) non-district victory.

Senior Eleanor Kent and freshman Katie Houser each totaled a team-high six kills, junior setter Emily Payne tallied 21 assists and junior libero Kelby Jackson added 10 digs in the win.

The Colonels (4-1) will be back in action with a road game at Jefferson (W.Va.) at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
