WINCHESTER — James Wood senior pitcher Addison Barber will play baseball next year at Old Dominion University as a preferred walk-on, according to his father David Barber.

Barber went 5-2 with a 3.56 ERA for the Colonels last season. He struck out 39 of 371⁄3 innings and was named to The Winchester Star’s All-Area Second team.

The Monarchs went 19-34 overall and 9-21 in the Colonial Athletic Association last season.
