STEPHENS CITY — Adam Whitacre scattered nine hits over 51/3 innings to lead Sherando to a win over James Wood Monday evening.
Jacob Carney went 2 for 4 with an RBI and John Bentley went 2 for 3 for the Warriors (15-1, 9-0 Northwestern).
James Wood (6-9, 3-6) got two hits apiece from Kacee Duggan and Dakota Orndorff in the loss.
