BUNKER HILL, W.VA. — Musselman (W.Va.) defeated James Wood on a bases-loaded single with no one out in the bottom of the ninth inning Friday night in non-district action.

Musselman put itself in position for the winning run after a throwing error allowed the leadoff runner to take second. A bunt put runners on first and third, and an intentional walk loaded the bases.

James Wood (3-1) rallied to tie the game at 4-4 with three runs in the top of the fifth.

KaCee Duggan (0-1) took the loss despite allowing just two hits in five innings of relief. Duggan had two hits and two runs on offense, and Casey Cochran and Dakota Orndorff each added two hits.
