WINCHESTER — Liberty scored one run in the sixth inning and three in the seventh inning to break open a 3-2 game and defeat James Wood in Class 4 Northwestern District action on Tuesday.
The Colonels (3-5, 2-2 district) had seven hits. Brett Baker went 2 for 3 with an RBI and Hayden Cunningham went 2 for 3 with a run.
James Wood’s Trent Campbell (1-1) pitched three innings and gave up three runs (two earned), four hits, one walk and struck out four batters.
