WINCHESTER — Garett McAlexander pitched five shutout innings as James Wood knocked off Liberty in Class 4 Northwestern District action.

McAlexander was dominant for the Colonels (2-3, 2-1). The right-hander did not walk a batter, while striking out 10.

James Wood scored twice in the first, three times in the second and once more in the fourth.
