James Wood bats heat up in baseball win over Skyline

FRONT ROYAL — Trailing 1-0 through four innings, James Wood's offense erupted in the final three innings to secure a 12-4 baseball win over Skyline on Friday.

The Colonels (7-5) scored five runs in the fifth, three in the sixth and four in the seventh to pull away from the Hawks. Kemper Omps' two-run single highlighted the fifth.
