SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va.- Jefferson (W.Va.) scored two runs in the first and three more in the third to defeat James Wood 5-1 in a non-district baseball game Wednesday night at Sager Field.

The game was called after five innings because of rain.

The Cougars limited James Wood to just one hit through five innings.

Garrett Cunningham went 1 for 2 with an RBI double for the Colonels (1-2).
