Boy's Soccer: Colonels 2, Cyclones 0

WINCHESTER — James Wood juniors Tommy Houser and Brandon Jones scored goals to lead the Colonels to a non-district victory over Eastern View on Wednesday night.

Houser scored off an assist from senior Spencer Marfing to put the Colonels (4-1) ahead in the 22nd minute.

Jones added his insurance goal in the 75th minute off an assist from junior Matt Rader.

The Colonels outshot the Cyclones 14-6.

James Wood senior goalkeeper Joe Kysela made three saves in his first shutout of the season.
