Boy's Soccer: Pioneers 6, Colonels 1

WINCHESTER — Junior forward Shane Moyer scored three times, keeper Taylor James recorded three saves and the Millbrook boys’ soccer team defeated James Wood 6-1 in a Northwestern District game Wednesday night.

The Pioneers (9-5, 4-3 Northwestern) also received goals from Perry Roberson, Cal Lockley and Will Schmid to go along with Moyer’s hat trick and Roberson and Santiago Sanchez added two assists apiece.

Junior Esteban Melivilu also finished with an assist for Millbrook.

Tomas Houser scored the lone goal for the Colonels (5-8-1, 2-4) in the loss.
