All-Area Boys’ Soccer Team

Shane Moyer — Millbrook — Senior — Forward

Moyer led the Northwestern District with 22 goals and 13 assists. He was named to the 4A North Region and Conference 21 first team, and was named Northwestern District Player of the Year.

Tommy Buono — Sherando — Junior — Forward

Buono had nine goals and five assists. He was named 4A North Region honorable mention and to the Conference 21 and Northwestern District first team.

Jay Fox — Handley — Junior — Midfielder

Fox had a team-high nine goals and added two assists. He was named to the 4A North Region second team and to the Conference 23 and Northwestern District first team.

Esteban Melivilu — Millbrook — Senior — Midfielder

Melivilu had nine goals and two assists. He was named to the Northwestern District first team.

Perry Roberson — Millbrook — Senior — Midfielder

Roberson had 11 goals and 12 assists. He was named to the 4A North Region second team and the Conference 21 and Northwestern District first team.

Austin Stover — SVCA — Senior — Midfielder

Stover had an area-high 26 goals and added 15 assists. He was named NACA All-American and Offensive MVP, was VACA State and North Region Player of the Year, and was VACA first team all-district.

Andrew Wade — Sherando — Junior — Midfielder

Wade had a team-high 11 goals and nine assists. He was named 4A North Region honorable mention and to the Conference 21 and Northwestern District first team.

Tyler Anderson — Millbrook — Senior — Defender

Anderson had 12 goals and nine assists. He was named to the Conference 21 and Northwestern District first team.

Chris Francis — James Wood — Junior — Defender

Francis had one assist. He was named to the Conference 21 and Northwestern District first team.

Andrew Mullan — Sherando — Senior — Defender

Mullan had two goals and six assists. He was named to the Conference 21 and Northwestern District second team.

George Novakowski — Clarke County — Senior — Defender

Novakowski had three goals and two assists. He was named to the Bull Run District second team.

Michael Davis — Handley — Senior — Goalkeeper

Davis led the area with 8.6 saves per game, and he allowed 1.6 goals a game and had one shutout. He was named to the Conference 23 second team and the Northwestern District first team.
