Sherando Boys’ Soccer Beats Colonels

WINCHESTER — Tommy Buono had two goals and two assists as the Sherando boys’ soccer team defeated James Wood 6-1 in a Northwestern District game Thursday.

Andrew Wade added one goal and one assist for the Warriors (6-2-1, 3-0 Northwestern). Also for Sherando, Zach Warner, Nic Craig and Tanner Wernecke scored goals, Rhett Morris, Anthony Pinto and Drew Berman recorded assists, and Kevin Riley made four saves, including one on a penalty kick, against the Colonels (1-7, 1-3).
