STEPHENS CITY — Tommy Buono recorded a hat trick to lead No. 1 Sherando to a Conference 21 quarterfinal win over No. 8 James Wood Tuesday.
The Warriors (13-2-2) will host No. 4 Millbrook at 6 p.m. in Friday’s semifinals.
Also for Sherando, Andrew Wade recorded a goal and two assists, Jake Adams had one goal, Zach Wagner recorded two assists, Seth Wade had an assist, and Kevin Riley and Brandon Teets combined to shut out James Wood (3-14) in goal.
