WINCHESTER — Brian McGuire recorded a hat trick to lead Millbrook to a Northwestern District win over James Wood on Thursday.

Ricardo Sanchez scored the other goal for the Pioneers (4-2-2, 1-0 district), who jumped out to a 2-0 lead in a game in which all the scoring took place in the first half.

Zach Hicks had three assists for the Pioneers, Kevin Valyear had one and Chriz Kozlowski made three saves.

James Wood (3-4, 0-1), which was outshot 11-4, received five saves from Cole Morris.
