STEPHENS CITY — Max Polio scored twice to lead Sherando to a Northwestern District win over James Wood.

Sean Buono added a goal and two assists for the Warriors (3-4-2, 2-1 district). Seth Wade had a goal and an assist and Nate Laing scored. Travis Ferraro and Nic Craig had an assist each. Keepers Brandon Teets (6) and Mike Berry (4) combined for 10 saves.

Aidan Houser scored a pair of goals for the Colonels (3-5, 0-2 district). Colin Watts also scored, while Robert Jackson and Trent Kite each had an assist. Keeper Cole Morris stopped 12 shots.
