Front Royal — James Wood earned its first win of the season in a Northwestern District game against Skyline Friday night.
Andrew Lloyd scored two goals, one on a penalty kick and another off an assist by Will Pollard, to lead the Colonels (1-5, 1-5 Northwestern). Josh Marts scored on a Nick Wadsworth assist.
Wyatt Clements made seven saves for James Wood, which had a 29-19 shot advantage.
