BERRYVILLE — Ian Smith scored his second goal of the game in the 76th minute to help Clarke County tie James Wood in the season opener for both teams on Tuesday.

James Wood was led by Tyler Reyes (one goal, one assist) and Chris Garcia (two assists). Damon Schneider and Xavier Kallash-Kyler had one goal each, Jon Davet had one assist and Hayden Armstrong had eight saves.

Eric Novak and Matias Camacho-Bruno also scored for the Eagles. Josh Poe had two assists and Evan Nichols had one. Brandon Mayo had 13 saves.
