Boys' soccer: Sherando 2, James Wood 1 (OT)
WINCHESTER — Brody Purtell scored in overtime to lift Sherando to its first win of the year in a Class 4 Northwestern District games on Thursday.
The Warriors (1-4-1, 1-1-1) also received a goal from Timmy Hill and six saves from Connor Sanders. Seth Rakowski scored off an assist from Tristan Obert for the Colonels (3-5, 1-3).
