Handley edges James Wood in OT to finish 16-0 in regular season

WINCHESTER — Ramon Diaz-Guzman scored 45 seconds into the first overtime as Handley completed a perfect regular season with a 6-5 triumph against James Wood.

The Judges (8-0 in the Class 4 Northwestern District) finished 16-0 in the regular season for the second time, joining the 2016 squad.

The two teams are not done with each other. The North top-seeded Judges will host the No. 4 Colonels (9-6-1, 4-4) on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Region 4D tournament. Handley defeated James Wood 9-0 earlier this season at James R. Wilkins Jr. Stadium.
