Boys’ Tennis: Warriors 9, Colonels 0

STEPHENS CITY — Sherando did not drop a single match in a Northwestern District home win over James Wood Tuesday afternoon.

The Warriors swept through singles as No. 1 Trey Scott (10-3), No. 2 Chris Mikus (10-1), No. 3 Berrington Lee (10-4), No. 4 Andrew Spieles (10-2), No. 5 Ben Hulver (10-5) and No. 6 Matt Blaney (10-4) all won easily.

The Colonels got as close as a 10-7 loss by their No. 2 doubles team of Chad Schotts and Mason Beeler, who fell to the Warrior tandem of Nik Mikus and Berrington Lee.
