BOYS’ TENNIS - Colonels 6, Warriors 3

STEPHENS CITY — James Wood posted four wins in singles and then won at both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to clinch a Conference 21 victory over Sherando on Tuesday.

The Colonels’ No. 1 doubles team of Evan Dokken and Noah Borromeo won 8-4, and Wood’s No. 2 doubles team of Jacob Calabrese and Austin Harvey won 8-6.

James Wood’s Dokken (No. 1, 8-2), Borromeo (No. 2, 8-4), Calabrese (No. 3, 8-2) and Bryan Savic (No. 5, 8-6) all won in singles for the Colonels (6-4).

Sherando’s Quinton DeGroot (No. 4, 8-6) and Seth Anton (No. 6, 8-5) won in singles.
