BOYS’ TENNIS - Pioneers 5, Colonels 4

WINCHESTER — Millbrook’s Hayden Wilfong and Zack Clark each won in singles and teamed for the match-clinching victory at No. 1 doubles to give the Pioneers a Northwestern District win over James Wood on Wednesday.

Wilfong and Clark won 10-6 at No. 1 doubles, giving the Pioneers their fifth team point.

In singles, Wilfong (No. 1, 10-3), Clark (No. 2, 10-3), Nathan Wiens (No. 3, 10-8) and John Morton (No. 6, 10-2) won in singles.

Jacob Calabrese (No. 4, 10-2) and Bryan Savic (No. 5, 10-4) won in singles for James Wood.
