Millbrook Boys’ Tennis Tops Wood In Conference 21 Quarterfinals

WINCHESTER — Fifth-seeded Millbrook won five singles matches to close out No. 4 James Wood 5-1 after singles in the opening round of the Conference 21 boys’ tennis tournament Monday.

The Pioneers will play on Wednesday in the semifinals.

Millbrook (10-7) got singles wins from No. 1 Hayden Wilfong (6-4, 6-2), No. 2 Zack Clark (5-7, 6-2, 6-0), No. 3 Nathan Wiens (7-5, 6-3), No. 5 Colin Hood (6-3, 1-6, 6-0) and No. 6 John Morton (7-6, 6-1).

No. 4 Austin Harney (6-3, 7-5) had the lone win for the Colonels (7-8).
