BERRYVILLE — James Wood clinched the victory over Clarke County early with five singles wins.

No. 1 Evan Dokken (10-2), No. 2 Noah Borromeo (10-2), No. 3 Jacob Calabrese (10-1), No. 5 Trent Richards (10-8) and No. 6 Jacob Potter (10-3) won singles matches for the Colonels (4-1). Matt Betz prevented a sweep with an 11-10 (7-5 tiebreaker) win at No. 4 singles for the Eagles (0-4). The doubles teams of Dokken-Borromeo (8-0), Calabrese-Auston Harney (8-2) and Richards-Potter (8-3) cruised for James Wood.
