Boys' Tennis - Colonels 5, Wolverines 2

WINCHESTER — Fourth-seeded James Wood won four singles and one doubles match to defeat No. 5 Woodgrove in the Conference 21 West quarterfinals on Friday.

James Wood (11-4) will play at No. 1 Handley (15-0) on Monday in the semifinals.

Evan Dokken (6-1, 6-3 at No. 1), Jacob Calabrese (5-7, 7-5, 6-0 at No. 3), Austin Harney (6-3, 6-4 at No. 4) and Trent Richards (2-6, 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) at No. 6) won in singles for the Colonels, and Dokken and Calabrese teamed for a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles to clinch the win against Woodgrove (6-9).
