Boy's Tennis: Colonels 5, Tigers 4

NOKESVILLE — Rusty Jenkins and Thom Schweitzer’s victory at No. 2 doubles clinched James Wood’s 5-4 Northwestern District victory over Brentsville on Tuesday.

Jenkins and Schweitzer edged Brentsville’s No. 2 doubles team 11-10 (7-3 in the tiebreaker).

Thomas Wilson and Joe Damron won at No. 1 doubles, helping the Colonels (3-2) clinch the match after finishing singles tied 3-3.

Wilson (No. 1), John Stanfield (No. 3) and Jenkins (No. 4) won in singles for James Wood.
