BOYS’ TENNIS - Pioneers 6, Colonels 3

WINCHESTER — Millbrook (7-0) won four of six singles matches on its way to a Conference 21 West victory over James Wood on Thursday.

Millbrook’s Hayden Wilfong (No. 1), Josh Dalton (No. 2, 10-4), Alex Clippinger (No. 4, 10-1) and Christian Hellwig (No. 5, 10-3) all won in singles for the Pioneers (1-0 in conference).

The Pioneers’ No. 1 doubles team of Wilfong and Nathan Wiens won 10-4, and the No. 2 doubles team of Dalton and Clippinger won 10-1.

James Wood’s Noah Borromeo won 10-4 at No. 2 singles, and teammate Connor Heustis won 10-6 at No. 6 singles. Heustis teamed with Chase Messick for a victory at No. 3 doubles (score not available).
