Boy's Tennis: Tigers 5, Colonels 4

WINCHESTER — Brentsville posted four victories in singles and then notched a win at No. 3 doubles to edge James Wood in Thursday’s Northwestern District match.

Brentsville’s No. 3 doubles team clinched the match with a 10-5 victory over Wood’s Devin Carter and Thom Schweitzer.

James Wood’s Thomas Wilson (No. 1) and John Stanfield (No. 3) posted victories in singles for the Colonels (7-5).

Wilson teamed with Joe Damron for a 10-7 win at No. 1 doubles and Stanfield and Rusty Jenkins edged Brentsville’s No. 2 doubles team 11-9.
