WARRENTON — James Wood split the season series by beating Fauquier in a Class 4 Northwestern District match on Thursday. The No. 3 doubles team of Kevin Cruz and Eli Mattingly earned the clinching point with an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles for the Colonels (7-8, 2-8 district).
