STEPHENS CITY — Freshman Lauren Reed punched in the game-winner off an assist from Mandy Fogarty in the first overtime for Sherando in a win over James Wood in both team’s Northwestern District opener.
The Warriors (3-2, 1-0 Northwestern) got a pair of goals from sophomore Tori Dean and senior keeper Maribeth Watkins posted six saves in the win over the Colonels (2-5, 0-1).
