All-Area Girls' Soccer First Team
Emily Denton
Wood — Senior — Forward
Denton led area public school players in goals (35, a school record) and led Winchester-Frederick County public school players with 12 assists. Finished with a school-record 65 goals. Denton was selected to the Group 4A all-state second team and the 4A West Region first team, and was named Conference 21 West Player of the Year.
Nikki Justice
Millbrook — Soph. — Forward
Justice recorded team-highs in goals (10) and assists (four). Justice was a Conference 21 West first team selection.
Olivia Elliott
Sherando — Senior — Mid.
Elliott scored six goals and recorded a team-high seven assists. Elliot was a Conference 21 West first team selection.
Kara Johnson
Handley — Junior — Mid.
Johnson scored a team-high seven goals and recorded two assists. Johnson was an honorable mention selection for the 4A West Region and was named first team All-Conference 21 West.
Rachel Levinson
Handley — Senior — Mid.
Levinson recorded six goals and five assists. Levinson was a Conference 21 West first team selection.
Hannah Max
SVCA — Junior — Mid.
Max led the area with 37 goals and added 15 assists. Max was a NACA All-American, NACA Offensive MVP, a Mason Dixon Christian Conference first team selection, and the MDCC tournament MVP.
Katie Padgett
Wood — Fresh. — Mid.
Padgett recorded 13 goals and 11 assists. Padgett was a Conference 21 West first team selection.
Hannah Ravenscroft
Clarke — Senior — Mid.-For.
Ravenscroft recorded 30 goals and seven assists. Ravenscroft was a Group 2A all-state second team selection and was named to the 2A East Region, Conference 35 and Bull Run District first teams.
Danielle Toone
Clarke — Soph. — Mid.-For.
Toone recorded 32 goals and an area-best 25 assists. Toone was a Group 2A all-state, 2A East Region, Conference 35 and Bull Run District first team selection.
Neary Casebolt
Wood — Junior — Defender
Casebolt — who began the year as an attacking player before being moved back — recorded seven goals and five assists. Casebolt was a Conference 21 West first team selection.
Ruthie Rosenfeld
Handley — Senior — Defender
Rosenfeld fronted Handley’s back line and helped the Judges (four shutouts) give up only 21 goals in 17 games. Rosenfeld was a Conference 21 West first team selection.
Bristen Broy
Clarke — Fr. — Goalkeeper
Broy led all area public school players with eight shutouts. Broy recorded 10.3 saves per game and allowed 1.6 goals per game.
