WINCHESTER — Claire Beccaccio recorded eight saves as James Wood bounced back from a loss Tuesday to blank Handley in Northwestern District girls’ soccer action on Thursday.

The Colonels (2-5-1, 1-1 district) rebounded from a 5-0 loss to Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy, outshooting the Judges (4-4-1, 1-1-1 district) by a 15-12 margin. Madison Myers scored off a pass from Katelyn High in the first half. Kaylah Gankiewicz tacked on a goal in the second half on an assist from Neary Casebolt.
