All-Conference 21: Girls' Soccer
Handley freshman forward Emma Ricci was named the Conference 21 West Player of the Year as the All-Conference 21 West teams were announced Thursday.
Ricci is joined by three teammates on the first team, midfielder Kara Johnson, defender Natalie DeArment and keeper Amanda Kesler.
Sherando also placed four on the first team with forward Megan Triplett and defenders Alexa Fairis, Taylor Fogarty and Sydney Hunter. James Wood had forward Katie Padgett, midfielder Kaylah Gankiewiecz and defender Neary Casebolt.
Handley led the second team with six selections, forward Kendall Felix and defenders Hailey Burke, Deyly Orellana, Sarah Snow, Miriam Trejo and Abby Keith. James Wood had three selections, midfielders Katelyn High and Madison Myers and defender Hannah Moszak. Sherando defenders Lauren Heskett and Abbie Dodson and Millbrook forward Evie Esslinger rounded out the squad.
Woodgrove’s Patrick Manno won Coach of the Year.
