Padgett scores twice as James Wood girls net soccer win
WARRENTON — Katie Padgett scored a pair of goals and added an assist as James Wood (9-7, 7-5) concluded its Class 4 Northwestern District girls’ soccer season with a 4-0 win over Fauquier on Tuesday.
The contest was shortened to a half after three lightning delays.
Leaders: Katelyn Mounts, Lauren Russell 1 goal each. Olivia Pettler, Katelyn High 1 assist each; Sadie Kerns 3 saves.
