All-Northwestern District Girls’ Soccer

Sherando freshman forward Kendall Lincoln and Kettle Run junior midfielder Payton Fiel have been named the Class 4 Northwestern District Girls’ Soccer Co-Players of the Year.

Lincoln was one of five Warriors who were named to the first team. Midfielder selections are junior Sydney Hunter and freshman Julia Hunter, and defender selections are junior Jessica Poole and freshman Lizzie Campbell.

Handley first-team selections are sophomore Emma Ricci (forward), senior Hailey Burke (midfielder), freshman Jessica Alamo (defender) and Amanda Kesler (goalkeeper).

James Wood junior forward Katie Padgett was also selected to the first team.

The second team selections are Sherando junior goalkeeper Kara Hendren; Handley sophomore forward Kendall Felix, junior forward Myah Bales, senior midfielder Madelyn Duffy and sophomore defender Abby Keith; James Wood junior midfielder Maddie Myers, freshman midfielder Katelyn Mounts, junior defender Lauren Russell and junior defender Hannah Given; and Millbrook junior forward Evie Esslinger and freshman defender Karlie Hepner.
