LEESBURG — Defending state champion Loudoun County ended James Wood’s season with a victory in the Region 4C semifinals. The Raiders led 1-0 at the half against the Colonels.
James Wood, which received 14 saves from Sadie Kerns, finished 14-5-1 to break the school record for wins in a single season by four. The Colonels also set a record for fewest goals allowed in a season (15) and set a record for shutouts in a season (12).
