WINCHESTER — Abby Cleaver’s goal in the 20th minute proved to be the difference in Turner Ashby’s non-district victory over James Wood Tuesday night.
The Colonels (0-1-1) put together five solid scoring chances with junior forward Kat Woznak and junior midfielder Katy Spencer working well together but could not score the equalizer.
James Wood junior goalkeeper Kaleigh Fincham made eight saves.
