Colonel girls tie Millbrook

WINCHESTER — The James Wood and Millbrook girls’ high school soccer teams battled to a 1-1 tie in a Northwestern District game Wednesday at Wood.

Katy Spencer opened the scoring in the 32nd minute on a Sarah Callaham assist for the Colonels (0-9-4, 0-4-2 Northwestern). Millbrook’s Jennifer Share scored the equalizer in the 65th minute.

The Pioneers (3-8-2, 3-2-2) had 18 shots saved by James Wood’s Kaleigh Fincham. The Colonels took 10 shots.
