GIRLS' TENNIS: Colonels 5, Pioneers 4

WINCHESTER- James Wood won two of three doubles matches to earn a Northwestern District home win Tuesday over Millbrook.

In singles, the Colonels (3-1, 1-0 Northwestern got wins from No. 1 Fae Schweitzer (10-3), No. 5 Rachel Sours (10-3) and No. 6 Kelsey Nicely (10-5). In doubles, they got wins from No. 1 Schweitzer and Tarah Wampler (10-6) and No. 3 Sours and Holly Landes (10-0).

In singles, the Pioneers (2-3, 0-1) got wins from No. 2 Amanda Hileman (10-3), No. 3 Olivia Holdway (10-4) and No. 4 Saelyen Kim (10-6). In doubles, Millbrook got a win from No. 2 Holdway and Kim (10-2).
