WINCHESTER — The Handley High School girls’ tennis team completed a perfect Northwestern District regular season with a 9-0 victory over James Wood Monday at Handley.
The Judges (14-1, 8-0 Northwestern) received singles wins from Jessie Nolan (10-0 at No. 1), Kathryn Bock (10-0 at No. 2), Sparkle Kitchin (10-4 at No. 3), Madeline Skedsvold (10-2 at No. 4), Madeline Hardy (10-4 at No. 5) and Leire Froufe (10-3 at No. 6).
Doubles wins came from Nolan and Bock at No. 1 (10-1), Kitchin and Eileen Wilkerson at No. 2 (11-9 over James Wood’s Holly Landes and Rachel Sours) and Froufe and Emily Smith at No. 3 (10-1).
