WINCHESTER — James Wood improved to 4-5 overall and 3-2 in the Northwestern District with a win over Skyline Thursday.

James Wood received wins in singles from Fae Schweitzer (8-0 at No. 1), Ashley Hillyard (8-1 at No. 2), Katie Schott (8-5 at No. 3), Allie Cooper (8-4 at No. 4), Haley Burke (8-6 at No. 5) and Clarissa Nicely 8-0 at No. 6).

In doubles, Schweitzer and Hillyard won 8-1 at No. 1, Schott and Cooper won 8-0 at No. 2, and Burke and Nicely won 8-4 at No. 3.
