Girl's Tennis - Conf. 21 individuals

STERLING — No local girls will be advancing to 4A North Region singles or doubles competition following the results of Tuesday’s Conference 21 semifinals action at Park View High School.

James Wood senior Fae Schweitzer — the only one of three Frederick County girls to win in the singles quarterfinals Monday (6-1, 6-1 over Van Do of Park View) — lost 6-1, 6-3 to Alexa Kling of Loudoun County Tuesday.

In doubles, Schweitzer and junior Ashley Hillyard were the only one of three Frederick County teams to win in Monday’s quarterfinals, beating Heritage 6-4, 6-2. But James Wood lost to Loudoun County 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 Tuesday.
