All-Area Girls’ Tennis Team

Kathryn Bock — Handley — Senior
Bock went 24-2 at No. 1 singles and 14-5 at No. 1 doubles. Bock became just the third Handley player to claim a singles state championship as she won the Group 4A title. Bock was a 4A North Region and Conference 23 champion in singles and in doubles she was a state semifinalist and a 4A North Region and Conference 21 champion.
Fae Schweitzer — James Wood — Senior
Schweitzer played at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles and helped the Colonels qualify for the 4A North Region Tournament. Schweitzer went 8-7 singles and 8-6 in doubles for James Wood and was a Conference 21 semifinalist in singles and doubles.
Jamie Miller — Handley — Junior
Miller went 12-8 at No. 2 singles and 7-5 at No. 3 doubles. Miller advanced to the 4A North Region quarterfinals in singles.
Leland Damron — Handley — Senior
Damron went 12-4 at No. 3 singles and 13-6 at No. 1 doubles. Damron was a 4A North Region and Conference 23 champion and a state semifinalist in doubles.
Maddy Skedsvold — Handley — Junior
Skedsvold went 11-4 at No. 4 singles and helped the Judges advance to the Group 4A state semifinals, and win the 4A North Region and Conference 23 titles.
Annie Cebrzynski — Millbrook — Sophomore
Cebrzynski went 8-8 at No. 1 singles and 7-9 at No. 1 doubles. Cebrzynski was a Conference 21 singles and doubles quarterfinalist.
