STEPHENS CITY —Sherando won the final five singles matches in cruising to a Northwestern District victory over James Wood on Thursday.
No. 2 Abigail Sears (10-6), No. 3 Alisa van de Crommert (10-4), No. 4 Meredith Gregg (10-7), No. 5 Maria Acosta (10-4) and No. 6 Kaitlin Duncan (10-5) ran off singles victories for the Warriors.
