WINCHESTER — Sherando won five of six singles matches en route to a Conference 21 victory over James Wood on Tuesday.
Abigail Sears (No. 1, 8-2), Alisa van de Crommert (No. 3, 8-4), Olivia Scott (No. 4, 8-1), Maria Acosta (No. 5, 8-2) and Meredith Gregg (No. 6, 8-2) all won in singles for the Warriors (9-1 overall, 4-0 conference).
Senior Ashley Hillyard posted the lone win (9-7) at No. 1 singles for the Colonels (2-6, 2-3 conference).
