GIRLS’ TENNIS - Conference 21 singles quarterfinals

STERLING — Sherando’s No. 6 seed Abigale Lukens rallied for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over Millbrook’s No. 3 seed Annie Cebrzynski in the Conference 21 singles quarterfinals at Park View on Tuesday.

Lukens will now face Loudoun County No. 2 seed Alexa Kling in today’s semifinals at 2 p.m.

Lukens and Abigail Sears defeated James Wood’s No. 6-seeded team Ashley Hillyard and Katie Schott 7-5, 7-5 in the doubles quarterfinals.

Lukens and Sears advance to face Loudoun County’s No. 2 team in today’s semifinal round.

Millbrook’s No. 4 doubles team of Cebrzynski and Kyle Buza lost to Woodgrove 6-0, 7-5 in the quarterfinals.
