FRONT ROYAL — James Wood improved to 5-0 with a victory in its Northwestern District opener over Skyline on Thursday.
The Colonels received singles wins from No. 2 Taylin Crosen (8-4), No. 3 Lily Kimble (8-0), No. 4 Carlee Gosline (8-5) and No. 5 Morgan Burner (8-2).
Doubles winners were No. 1 Megan Hillyard-Crosen (8-4), No. 2 Kimble-Burner (8-1) and No. 3 Gosline-Courtney Dyer (8-3).
