GIRLS’ TENNIS - Judges 6, Colonels 3

WINCHESTER — Meredith Watts and Catherine Love each played a part in two wins as Handley topped James Wood on Wednesday.

In singles, No. 1 Watts cruised 8-1 and Love pulled out an 8-6 win at No. 6. Also winning tight singles matches for the Judges were No. 4 Laurel Griffin (8-6) and No. 5 Emma Capitano (9-8, 9-7 tiebreaker). No. 1 Watt-Josie Sydnor (8-2) and No. 3 Love-Lillian Smith (8-1) triumphed in doubles.

No. 2 Taylin Crosen (9-7) and No. 3 Lily Kimble (8-5) captured singles wins for the Colonels.
