WINCHESTER — Sherando lost only 12 games in defeating James Wood in a Class 4 Northwestern District match on Thursday.

Singles winners for the Warriors (6-1, 4-1 district) were Kathryn Robertson (8-1 at No. 1), Alexa Venturato (8-3 at No. 2), Maddie Woolever (8-0 at No. 3), Kaitlyn Duncan (8-1 at No. 4), Emily Loy (8-1 at No. 5) and Addy Gannon (8-0 at No. 6). Doubles winners were Robertson-Venturato (8-3 at No. 1), Woolever-Duncan (8-0 at No. 2) and Loy-Gannon (8-3 at No. 3).

James Wood is now is 3-2, 1-2.
